Who runs Sundial
Heed Sundial is a private internal call desk operated by The Render Unit LLC, doing business as Heed. Contact: mushahid@therenderunit.net.
Information we use
- Sign-in. Your Google account's name, email address and Google identifier, used to check that the account is approved.
- Connected calendars. For each Google account you connect, its email address, Google identifier and encrypted access tokens. Sundial reads the list of calendars and the events on the calendars you turn on, and stores each event's title, description, location, start and end times, attendee names and email addresses, organiser and meeting link.
- What you add. Notes you write on a call, your reminder settings, and the push subscription of each device you turn notifications on for.
How it is used
To show your agenda in India time and your clients' local time, open meeting links, and send the reminders you turn on. Sundial asks Google for read-only calendar access and never changes your calendars. We do not sell Google data, use it for advertising, or use it to train general-purpose AI models.
Service providers and security
Google provides sign-in and calendar data. Vercel hosts the application and Neon stores its database, both in Singapore. Notifications pass through the push service of your browser or phone maker (for example Apple), and contain the call's name and times. Google tokens are encrypted before they are stored and are used only on the server. Normal hosting and security logs may contain request metadata, and provider retention and backup policies apply.
Retention, disconnection and deletion
Synced events stay while their account is connected. Disconnect in Settings deletes that account's stored tokens, its calendars and every event synced from them, and asks Google to revoke Sundial's access. You can also revoke access in your Google Account under third-party connections. To delete your sign-in record, notes or anything else, email the address above. Disconnecting does not erase hosting logs or provider backups.
Google API data
Sundial's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Changes
We will update this notice when Sundial's data practices change. New integrations, such as GoHighLevel or Wispr Flow, will be connected separately and described here before they are switched on.
